Olivia Bermea Hernandez (Bermea)
Olivia Bermea Hernandez of Meadow, Texas peacefully went to be with our Lord on November 15, 2017 at the age of 84.

She was born July 24, 1933 in Menard, Texas to the late Ezequiel and Maria de Jesusita Morales Bermea. She married Enrique Hernandez on April 25, 1953 in Menard and then moved thereafter with her husband to the Ropesville/Meadow, Texas areas where they eventually planted their roots. Olivia was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, volunteering at her children’s school to assist with field trips or could be seen working the concession stands during her son’s baseball games. She enjoyed working in the yard and enjoyed the evenings sitting on her front porch.

Olivia leaves behind her children, Adela Flores and husband Pedro of Coleman, Texas; Mary Louise “Louisa” Flores and husband Rogelio Flores, Sr. of Meadow, Texas; Enrique “Henry” Hernandez, Jr of Meadow; Mario Hernandez and wife Robbie of Lubbock, Texas; Gloria Ramirez and husband Mark of Uvalde, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, a daughter (Anabela Hernandez), her parents, one sister and two brothers.

Pallbearers will be Rogelio Flores, Jr., Miguel Flores, Mario Hernandez, Jr., Lee Hernandez, Danny Deanda and Mark Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers will be Rogelio Flores, Sr., Pedro Flores and Agapito Albiar.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
