Louise Martin (Plumley)
Louise J. Martin, 65, of San Angelo, lost her long and hard-fought battle with Multiple Sclerosis on Monday, October 9, 2017.
Louise was born in Brady on March 20, 1952 to parents: Alvin ‘Buddy’ Plumley and Jane Plumley Jordan. She lived in Brady until her graduation from Brady High School in 1970. Soon after, Louise met the love of her life, Ronald Martin and they were married on November 24, 1971. They then moved to San Angelo and resided there for 47 years.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Martin of San Angelo; daughters, Mistie Martin of San Angelo, Jennifer Lee of Denton and granddaughter Gia Suo-Anttila also of Denton. She is also survived by mother, Jane Jordan; brothers-in-law, Thomas Flanagin of Brady, Ray Martin and his wife Debra both of Belton, in addition to several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin ’Buddy’ Plumley; and sister, Linda Flanagin. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Brady on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with graveside services to immediately follow at the Rest Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
